Telling the story of how Fox was sold is not totally accurate. It's really the combo of Neil Moritz and Steve Levitan (who had a development deal at Fox) that got us the full 13 episode commitment. But it IS true that Fox balked at the idea of a puppet show until they saw our footage from the cable show and were won over by the characters. The reference to smoking crack in Tompkins Square was a reference to the alleged escapades of poor Max Wright, who played the father on "Alf." The reference at the end to wanting to write more, was a joke based in truth, since Spencer Chinoy and I were writers on the show, but had very little ultimate creative control of the show's content. Grrrrrr.

Well some of those callers were brutal. Hey Dan, I have been doing college radio for 15 years as a non-student fill in and it very closely resembles public access TV in the respect that we have free creative reign over what we do on the air ... FCC swearing aside and also not making a dime doing it lolz.

have fun with this and keep plugging away, someone somewhere will see the genius of GtheB and make an honest go of it the right way.

Anyway best of luck and all that.

Something weird happened to Howard when he was a kid with the puppets. I think he made some movies or something. They were actually really good! I think that is why he is acting so creepy.
