NEW SERIES PRESENTATION
It's quality over quantity this month, as we have only one little tidbit to report - we have just finished the script for a presentation video for a new Greg the Bunny television series, entitled "Greg & Warren: American Socks." The presentation is being funded by MTV productions as a potential project for their network. It is being produced by Kevin Chinoy and Francesca Silvestri of GoFreestyle Productions, along with Co-Executive Producer and show runner, George Plamondon.
The brief premise is for a reality TV series in the tradition of "The Coreys," starring Greg and Warren as themselves - two washed up puppet actors struggling through personal and professional obstacles here in Hollywood, where dreams are made, but usually broken.
Old faces will return for cameos, such as longtime friend Seth Green and puppet pals like Count Blah, but the show would also aim to introduce new faces, both puppet and human. We're looking to shoot the presentation next month in Los Angeles.
GTB RERUNS ON IFC?
In other news, IFC is launching their late-night block of programming, called "Automat," and we are hoping to use the opportunity for IFC to show some old GTB content not seen since it's first airing back in 1999. No word yet on that progress. The hope is that taking advantage of the old library might bring new fans to those old shows, and pave the way for new DVD or online downloads.
Hope everyone is off to a happy new year! Thanks as always for your support and good wishes.
