Dan Milano 2/17 UPDATE ON WARREN THE APE

Well, as of today, the 17th of February, we are nearly half-way through our production of Warren the Ape. We took Warren to "upfronts" in NYC last week, where he appeared in front of an audience of advertising people and media buyers during a presentation of MTV's new shows. We rubbed elbows with Snookie and the Jersey Shore gang, as well as MTV's new crotch-kicking pranksters, the "Dudesons." So that's the kind of company we're keeping lately.

Dan Milano 1/16: UPDATE ON "WARREN THE APE"

Well, it's been an amazing few weeks. The first two episodes are in the can and early cuts are going to MTV for notes. We're shooting the next two, and I am extremely happy with the footage we are getting. The shows are based on scripted outlines, and many of the scenes are being improvised by the human and puppet cast members on set. Dan Milano FIRST TWO WEEKS OF PRODUCTION

Warren the Ape has begun its first two weeks of principal production!!! We're shooting at various locations in Los Angeles and using some of the crew from ITS ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA. We're working with an amazing group of folks, some new and some from previous productions. HOLY CRAP, WE SKIPPED APRIL! Wish I could say that was an April Fool's joke. April? What April? Well as this entry is made, we just completed two days of shooting new GREG THE BUNNY footage for our MTV pilot presentation.
